Psychology of Color

Since I've been talking about color, when this wonderful graphic came along from the folks at webfx.com, I thought I must definitely share it with my site visitors. It does a wonderful job of describing the overall psychology of a business that can be conveyed with color.

Color is a vital element to any branding as it can really impact how your users relate to your product or service. Notice how 84% of people cite color as a reason they purchased product! That's significant. While I've had clients lean away from color as a result of personal preference, I encourage them to consider their users and clients more than their own personal preferences. Branding is about creating a visual identity and marketing philosophy that will invoke your potential market to take action, not what they personally might like or dislike.
