UNDERSTANDING THE CLIENT
What
kind of business is it?
What is it's size and capabilities?
Who is the business trying to reach?
What does the client hope to accomplish in the future
with it's business?
What are the competitors doing already? |

UNDERSTANDING THE PROJECT
Is
it a print project-or would it be better suited to the
web?
What is the goal of the project?
Are pictures and copy provided, or does there need to
be work done here as well?
What is the budget? |

SCHEDULING & PROPOSALS
Based
on the results of the first two parts, scheduling needs
be done.
If subcontractors are necessary for copywriting, photography,
etc. they would contacted and their bids taken into
account for the budget.
Once bids are in, proposal is written up based on the
amount of time necessary for the project to be completed,
as well as the subcontractors bids that will be pertinent
to the project.
If the proposal is accepted, the project is started! |

CREATIVITY ENSUES!
Now
that research and scheduling have taken place, the design
execution would begin.
Generally, two or three options are created to reach
the project goals. One of these options is selected
and necessary revisions take place to fine tune the
final result and meet the client expectations. |
