Trade design and event design present their own set of challenges. Trade design works to inform the consumer about the project or service, but in a very general, very large scale way. It's like a backdrop at the ballet, it gives context.
Event design serves a very different purpose of providing information, it's front and center. It tells you where to go, what will be happening, often how to get there.
